What a week, phew!

That's quite the pinewood derby car--Jake wanted a banana car and Chris works his magic. Jake won the award for "Most A-peel-ing"

This was just one of the past week's activities that have kept me quite busy and quite exhausted.

It was rough getting back to life after spring break and then I had things to do every night. Last Tuesday was Ensign Club, then volleyball, then a couple of tennis nights and the pinewood derby. Its all good.

Our good news is that Colton has made the high school swim team. Of the incoming Freshmen, he was the 3rd strongest swimmer, so he is hoping he will make varsity, or at least get to practice with them next year.

So it doesn't look like much yet, but I've got a little garden going. Tomatoes yellow squash, cantaloupe, cucumbers and watermelon are coming soon to our dinner table (fingers crossed). I just can get over how much I love spring.

It's hard to stay inside, but I finally finished my paper for Child Development--that's why I finally have time to post. It's a tedious course, but I'll be like the tortise and someday finish my race to be done with BYU --probably just in time for Colton to start.
